Ritho's web

What is Ritho?

Well, in a nutshell, Ritho is my personal web page, where I have my blog, links to some of my projects and, in general, resources I think are interesting per se. The site is on continuous building, so you will see new sections on the future and, maybe, some changes in the structure of the site.

The site is built with Go, so if you want to set up your site using the same code base as mine you can check my Git repository, where I accept contributions :).

What Ritho stands for?

That's a quite common question I've been ask from time to time, so here's the answer. Ritho is an acronym of (Dennies) Ritchie and (Ken) Thompson, two of the creators of the C programming language and the Unix operating system, so it's a tribute to two of the most influent people in the computer science field. I've never met them, but I hope they take this tribute with the good spirit it's intended :).

Contact information

The people that knows me will tell you that I'm not a big fan of the social media, so the easiest way to contact me is by email at palvarez (at) ritho (dot) net. I read my email frequently, so there's a good chance I'll reply you back if you contact me in there.
